NatGasLens runs a remote MCP server. Point Claude, Cursor or VS Code at it and ask about US gas in plain language — LNG feedgas, which liquefaction train is down, what the EIA is likely to print this Thursday, where the Henry Hub curve sits against a year ago. The numbers come from our own collection pipeline, not from a chat model's memory.
Every tool answers without credentials. No token means delayed data — the fundamental score lags 14 days, storage shows only the released print, production stops at the last closed month. Add a subscription token and the same tools return the live edge. Evaluate first, pay later.

header or as a ?t= query parameter. The query form works in every
client, so that is what the snippets below use. Replace YOUR_TOKEN
with the token the bot gives you; drop it entirely to run in free mode.
Do not look for NatGasLens in the Claude connectors directory — it is added by URL, as a custom connector. Anthropic documents the two as equivalent: a server does not need to be in the directory to be used, and once connected it exposes exactly the same tools.

NatGasLens supplies measurements and statistical estimates of the US gas market: what is flowing, what is stored, what the models see. It is not investment advice, not a price forecast and not a promise of profit. Every estimate comes with a margin of error, official data gets revised, and how any indicator behaved in the past is no guarantee of how it behaves next. Each model output arrives with its vintage and its measured margin of error attached, so you can weigh it yourself before it touches a decision.
